



Dominik was part of an incredibly strong team who finished 3rd in the U19 boy’s national league. All members of this team were outstanding players in their own right, with some playing for the men’s national league teams and / or being selected for Scotland senior team training. In all cases the other team members were older and taller than Dominik. There are many reasons on paper as to how Dominik could be missed for such and award.
However, you only need to look at the skill and commitment that Domink displays every moment he is on court and all doubts fade.
Apart from the apparent ease with which he handles any ball control, be it hitting, serving, passing or volleying, he displays a focus and intensity that most members of the adult teams would struggle to achieve. It is this focus that ensures Dominik rarely makes a mistake at any time on court. This is easily demonstrated in his serving, where he serves continuously and without error. This consistency is maintained in all aspects of his game and is backed by a dogged determination to chase any ball and keep it in play.
