The Mets guys entered the hall worried that coach / libero Andy Fleming hadn’t appeared by warm up , but  much to the everyone’s relief, he arrived during the warm-up looking flustered after some car problems.

With everyone settled business began. The first set began slowly with both teams trading serves for 1 or 2 points at a time to remain even until setter Alan Krawczyk started a run of points that led Mets to a 25-17 win.

A solid serve receive  unit comprised of Mark Hudson, Ryan MacLeod and (surprisingly) Andy Fleming provided solid passing to allow Alan to pass to any position. Strong, intelligent hitting from Ivan Poupaznik, Marek Mrolka and Ryan MacLeod allowed Mets to in the second set 25-19.

In the third set, Vincent Lyle dominated the middle of the net, with Ivan pulling off several outstanding pick-ups. Despite being a little low on calories, Mark Hudson showed powerful hitting through 4 and finished the set with a strong run of serves, to finish the set 25-14 for Mets.
