Following some recent vicious assaults inflicted on him by fellow team members, Colin has recently taken up Huddy-okan karate. This modern method of self-offence was first demonstrated by its founder, 10th-Ban master Mark Hudson, in the final of the top teams cup.

This mini-Met in a land of giants takes part in other sports more suitable for his build, including squash, swimming and cycling.

A keen musician in the more sedate areas of his life, playing, among other things, bass and electric guitar.
